Sustaining a similar glam-rock stomp to that on his recent single '7 Foot Tall Post-Suicidal Feel Good Blues', Nancy's new offering 'Pleasure Pen' feels comparatively more laid-back. Dragged out and lethargic, a thudding kick grounds the surreal track as ethereal synths and processed vocals dominate the mix. Lyrically saucy, Nancy explains: “‘Pleasure Pen’ is based on the Sacher-Masoch novella Venus in Furs, it’s dark and dirty and needs to be listened to whilst engulfed in red light. Break out those assless chaps cos it’s about to get disgusting”. Nancy's 10-track mini-album 7 Foot Tall Post-Suicidal Feel Good Blues will arrive on the 15th of January. -Holly Mulineaux
